예(ye) – formal.
네(ne) – informal.

I’m trying to figure this out… I know the way to say yes in korean is "ye" or "ne" but I swear I hear people say "de" in its place. Is this something or am I mishearing them?

예(ye)
네(ne)
Both are formal but sometimes "ye" can be seen as more formal. "Ne" is used more and but sometimes it can be heard as “de”.
